"Creole Townhouse Front Facade Lights"

I am using the same coach lights that I used on the millinery shop dollhouse along with two ornate wrought iron lights on the ceiling of the second floor balcony. I have wired the front separately from the main body of the house.

  1. Hello Jocelyn,
Do you realize how amazingly realistic this building is! Absolutely fantastic...nobody would ever guess that the house in the picture is miniature. I am blown away!

    1. Thank you! I think my trip to New Orleans helped a lot. I still need to add a few details to the front.

  3. Thank you, that means so much to me. This project is going slower than I expected. Hopefully I will make up lost ground during the holiday season.

  5. It is so realistic, I swear I felt a soft Louisiana breeze as I heard crickets chirping. Amazing work!

  6. Beautiful! If this weren't a dollhouse blog, no one would know it wasn't a real house.

  11. Hi Jocelyn! Those lights cast beautiful shadows against the walls! When I look at these photos I am reminded of reading Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire. There is a real moodiness generated with the way the light is falling, Especially the long shot spanning the length of the upper balcony. Very mysterious, and very haunting!
