As you know, my plans are to turn Le Chateau Doll's House into a Creole Town house in New Orleans. I started sketching over the photo on the box and drawing out my cast iron railing and shutters. I extended the smaller balconies into one large balcony that will run the width of the front of the house. The problem is when I got to second floor I could not decide if I should keep the staircase like it is in the photo or lose the staircase and run a second balcony the width of the front of the building. Losing the stairs will be in keeping with the original design I planned (as seen in the bottom photo from the book) but I kind of like the grand staircase now. Keep or lose the staircase? decisions, decisions
This is a scrapbook of the building and decorating of my dream dollhouse, the Mountfield Dollhouse by the Dolls House Emporium, and other added dollhouses.

New Custom Wrought Iron Twin Beds by ALifeInMiniature
I love the design of these beds! I thought they would be a nice touch inside Le Chateau/Creole Townhouse with the fleur de lis incorporated in the head and foot boards. These originally were listed only in full size. I contacted Eileen and she made the set for me in twin. These beds will belong to the girls, I am thinking about the two of them sharing a room, so I can have a study/library. I am considering the idea of trading their separate bedrooms for the master bedroom, so the parents will have a balcony. This is the picture she posted with the listing on Esty, it is a picture of the full size. I plan to have my mom dress the beds for me later.
